Whereas Jérôme Lanz and Sebastiano Soracreppa have both signed a one-year deal, Bryan Rüegger will play in Thurgau for two seasons.

Jérôme Lanz joins HC Thurgau from EHC Olten, where he spent the 2019-20 season. The 21-year-old forward, who debuted in the Swiss League in 2017 with the EVZ Academy, has already played 109 games in the second-highest tier of Swiss hockey, recording 16 points.

For his part, Sebastiano Soracreppa will play in Switzerland for the first time in his career. Professionally, the 20-year-old Swiss-Italian defenseman has, in fact, always played in the Alps Hockey League with Fassa. Moreover, the youngster also participated in two U20 world championships for Italy. This past season, Soracreppa recorded twelve points in 44 games.

Finally, in Bryan Rüegger HC Thurgau has found their second goalkeeper. The 19-year-old spent the last season mainly with EHC Seewen in the MySports League, posting a goals-against average of 2.51. In addition to that, he also suited up eleven times for the U20 squad of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
