Yves Brantschen is a product of EHC Visp's organization but joined EV Zug's organization in 2014. He returned to his youth team in 2018 and has suited up for EHC Visp ever since.
The defenseman appeared in 48 games for the Swiss League team last season, recording one goal and five assists. It was his third full season at a professional level.
