Samuel Grezet will have to look for a new team

According to Arcinfo, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' roster for the 2020-21 season is complete and they have put in a hiring freeze. Thus, the contract of Samuel Grezet will not be extended. The forward, who is a product of HCC's organization, played for HCC for the past six consecutive seasons.
At yesterday's general assembly the club also disclosed that they will reduce their budget from CHF 5.4 million to CHF 4.5 million. This is part of the new leadership's plan in order to stabilize the finances of the club again. They also want to be able to play in a renovated arena by the 2024-25 season.
