With the hiring of Yves Sarault, EHC Visp has found the replacement of Matti Alatalo, who was fired back in October after three years with the club. Sarault already directed his first practice session and will lead the team for the first time on Saturday against HC Thurgau.

After six seasons as assistant coach of Lausanne HC and head coach of their U20 squad, Sarault had been replaced by Eric Walsky for the current season. During the 2017-18 season, Sarault had also the opportunity to briefly coach the main squad on an interim basis.
