A new import for La Chaux-de-Fonds

HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has found an injury replacement for Tim Coffman. 31-year-old Matias Sointu will join them for the rest of the season. The Finn was last engaged with the Graz99ers in the mainly Austrian-based ICEHL. After joining them last December, he was let go in February, only making 16 games for them.
Since 2017, Sointu has been around quite a bit. He has played in Italy, Sweden, Wales and his native country, Finland. If all goes well, he will be making his Swiss debut this coming Saturday versus HC Sierre.
