"I very much hope that we come to an agreement," Dion Knelsen tells the Oltner Tagblatt. "My interest in playing somewhere else is limited. We definitely want to stay here."

EHC Olten and Knelsen are in negotiations, but they have not yet closed the deal. The 32-year-old Canadian, who started his career in Switzerland with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, is currently in his second season with EHC Olten.

The captain of the Swiss League team recorded 16 goals and 33 assists in 46 regular-season games. Knelsen has also had a great start to the playoffs: in four games, he put up five goals and six assists.
