The Lions will thus start the new season with a very young goalie trio. From EHC Kloten, Luis Janett joins the team after Kloten has signed Sandro Zurkirchen in addition to Dominik Nyffeler, the Thurgauer Zeitung reports. The 21-year-old has also been courted by EHC Winterthur lately.

Also 19-year-old Jan Rutz is supposed to move to HC Thurgau from EV Zug. This season, Rutz has won the Swiss championship with EV Zug's U20-Elit. Moreover, Thurgau should also be able to count on Rapperswil's backup Noel Bader from time to time.

HC Thurgau is now looking to reinforce their offense for the upcoming season. Mattia Hinterkircher, for his part, has to leave the club. The 26-year-old forward is no longer an option for HCT, the Thurgauer Zeitung writes. If forward Adrian Wetli, 23, has a future with them has not yet been decided.
