As Eero Elo will miss about three months due to a hand injury (read full story here), Langenthal has acquired a new forward. Roope Ranta joins the team from Germany where he played in the DEL2 for the last five seasons.
"Roope will play tomorrow night for the first time against Visp, showing his qualities in the Schoren", team manager Kevin Schläpfer is quoted in the club's press release. Roope Ranta has signed a contract valid until the international break in mid-November.
