An emotional Frédéric Iglesias announced his retirement last night in an interview with MySports. The defender, who recorded ten assists in 39 games for HCC this season, has been playing for the Bees since the 2019-20 season.

A product of Genève-Servette HC's organisation, the defenseman appeared in games for GSHC, EHC Basel, Red Ice Martigny (now HCV Martigny), the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. He played in 222 National League games and 345 Swiss League games throughout his career.
