"I don't know, the doors are open," Mathias Trettenes reveals to Arcinfo, "We have had discussions with [HCC's team manager] Loïc Burkhalter and nothing is decided." While the season of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds is over, that of Trettenes is not, as he will play for Norway at the World Championships in May. For that reason, he prefers to focus on the competition.
Trettenes joined HCC in 2020 from the Stavanger Oilers and at the beginning of the 2021-22 season, he was chosen as the new captain of the team. In 102 games in the Swiss League, the 28-year-old forward scored 33 goals and collected 74 assists.
