On defense, besides the four players with ongoing contracts and the addition of Victor Oejdemark, EHC Olten is rumored to sign EHC Kloten's Simon Seiler, as the Oltner Tagblatt writes. There will be at least two more additions.
On offense, Dion Knelsen seems to be headed elsewhere. The Canadian was with the Mice for three years. In March, the forward talked about the possibility of returning to his home country. This means Olten will be looking for another import player.
The future of Dominic Forget is not yet clear. His contract did include an option for another season, but Olten decided to opt-out of it. There still is a chance that he will sign a new deal with them. Back in February, the 41-year-old became the new all-time point leader of the Swiss League. Fellow forward Léonardo Fuhrer is reportedly in talks with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.
