There will be changes in the administrative board, an operative management has been picked and Luca Wenger joins from Langnau.

SC Langenthal has announced the signing of Luca Wenger. The 20-year-old joins from the SCL Tigers, where he mainly played in the youth department but also got some opportunities in the National League. A one-year deal has been signed with the forward.

Until the start of the season, the Swiss League team still plans to acquire two import forwards, an experienced defenseman, as well as some young players.

Off the ice, there have been some changes within the club. Three of the current members of the administrative board will leave (Daniel Kämpfer, Stephan Zaugg, Thomas Rufener), while one new face, Michael Husistein, is up for election. He will also function as board delegate to form a link between them and the new operative management.

Said management consists of team manager Kevin Schläpfer, head of office, operation and administration Christoph Brügger, as well as Hans Peter Schrenk as head of finance. The position of head of marketing and communication is yet to be filled, as Peter Zulauf, the former head of marketing/sales will be leaving at the end of the month.
