EHC Basel is undergoing some personnel changes. Besides the coach - from Christian Weber to Eric Himmelfarb -, there will be a new CEO and a new Chairman of the Board. Daniel Schnellmann, who holds both these positions, has decided to quit by the end of April and asked to be relieved of his operative duties by January 1.
Olivier Schäublin, currently the team manager, will take over as CEO, first on an interim basis and from May 1 permanently. Michael Milos, a member of the administrative board, will succeed Schnellmann as Chairman of the Board, also on an interim basis.
