After numerous discussions with all parties involved and an intensive search to find a solution for the sporting slump, SC Langenthal has chosen to appoint Kevin Schläpfer as the new head coach, while Jeff Campbell and Robert Othmann will support him as assistant coaches.
Gian Kämpf, chairman of the board, explains the decision: "All parties involved are convinced that Kevin Schläpfer can set the right impulses with his qualities and his energy and will bring in a breath of fresh air." SC Langenthal currently sits in eighth place in the Swiss League standings and will face HC La Chaux-de-Fonds tonight.
