Sven Bärtschi - no real future in the Canucks' organization

The Vancouver Canucks have been trying to trade Sven Bärtschi for a while now, but a possible deal has not yet been completed. As the club's general manager now announced, the forward has been placed on waivers.

Bärtschi, 27, has spent most of the season with the Canucks' AHL-affiliate, the Utica Comets, recording four goals and 19 assists in 16 games. In six games with the NHL-team, he assisted on two goals.
