According to Kevin Kurz (The Athletic), there are rumblings that Timo Meier "could be in play" for the San Jose Sharks. He also speculates that the New Jersey Devils might be a potential trading partner for the Sharks.
Timo Meier was drafted 9th overall by the Sharks in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The forward recorded twelve goals and 19 assists in 54 regular-season games for the Sharks last season.
