Mason McTavish, who has been drafted third overall by the Anaheim Ducks this summer, and Brennan Othmann (picked 16th overall by the New York Rangers) have put their signature under the first NHL contracts of their careers with their respective teams.
McTavish and Othmann both spent their draft season on loan in the Swiss League with EHC Olten. McTavish suited up 17 times with the mouse on his shirt and recorded 18 points (eleven goals). Othmann appeared in 38 games with Olten and also put up 18 points (eight goals).
