Lucas Wallmark left his former team CSKA Moskva in early March and has not signed with a new club just yet. For next season, it looks like the 26-year-old may play in Switzerland, as Swedish reporter Johan Svensson writes on Expressen. The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers are said to have been among the interested parties, but it seems like he would join the ZSC Lions.

Wallmark was in the KHL for one season (eight goals and eleven assists in 33 games). Prior to that, he was engaged overseas for five years, first in the Carolina Hurricanes organization, then with the Chicago Blackhawks. He also had two short stints with the Florida Panthers as part of trade-deadline moves. In total, he made 204 games in the NHL (24 goals and 40 assists) as well as 125 in the AHL (47 goals and 65 assists).
