The 94th Spengler Cup will thus also host teams from Czechia, Sweden, and Finland this year. HC Ambrì-Piotta and HC Sparta Praha were already set to play at the Spengler Cup in 2020 and 2021, which were cancelled due to the pandemic.
The opening game on December 26 will be played between HC Ambrì-Piotta and Örebro HK (
). In the second game of the day, HC Sparta Praha (
) is going to face Team Canada.
IFK Helsinki (
/ against the loser of the game between Ambrì and Örebro) and HC Davos (against Prague or Canada) are going to have their first appearance on Day 2 of the tournament.
Tickets will be available from next Tuesday, May 24.
