The Swiss team will start the tournament against Latvia on Monday, April 26, followed by the game against Belarus the next day. "Our goal is to qualify for the quarterfinals," Marcel Jenni states in the SIHF's press release. "To achieve that, these two games are crucial and they won't be easy. We have a lot of work ahead of us."

Jenni's squad consists of a total of 25 players (three goalies, eight defensemen, and 14 forwards). With Attilio Biasca of the Halifax Mooseheads, there is also one player on the roster, who already played in the last U20 World Championship.
