Swiss National Team

For their prospect camp, which takes place at the end of July, head coach Patrick Fischer has summoned a total of 23 players.

For almost half of the team it is the first invitation to the national team. Patrick Fischer has called up ten new faces. On the goalie position alone, there will be three newcomers taking part in the camp: Luca Hollenstein (EV Zug), Akira Schmid (New Jersey Devils/NHL), and Philip Wüthrich (SC Bern).

Also their first invitation received the defensemen Nico Gross (EV Zug), Oliver Heinen (HC Davos), and Mika Henauer (SC Bern), as well as the forwards Nando Eggenberger, Marco Lehmann (both SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers), Yannick Frehner (HC Davos), and Sandro Schmid (HC Fribourg-Gottéron).

The prospect camp will take place from July 25 to 29 and will include six training sessions as well as two internal test matches.
