Rathgeb and Künzle (both EHC Biel), as well as Müller (HC Lugano) and Senteler (EV Zug) are going to replace Dominik Egli, Enzo Corvi, Inti Pestoni, and Gaëtan Haas. They are all not able to make the trip to Finland due to health reasons.
The Swiss team will play their first game at the Karjala Cup on Thursday, November 10, against host Finland. They will then also face Sweden (November 12) and Czechia (November 13).
