As the Canadian newspaper Le Droit reports, it is not unlikely that the Swiss defenseman gets traded to another team in the QMJHL.

David Aebischer is currently on a trip to northeastern Québec with the team, but these could be the last games with the Gatineau Olympiques, as the team, which has nine defensemen in the roster, might receive an offer from another team in the QMJHL.

"As a European player who can be traded at any time, I have been on the lookout since the beginning of the season. I know the Olympics trust me, but frankly, I can't say I trust the hockey business in Canada! You never know what might happen. I expect everything," revealed yesterday the 19-year-old. In the interview, Aebischer also reaffirms again that his priority for the next season is to find a professional team in North America.

Over the course of one and a half-season in QMJHL with the Olympics, Aebischer recorded 42 points (eight goals) in 77 games.
