The change of the regulations in regard to the import player contingent has been the topic of hot discussions lately. The organized supporters of the clubs have now also thrown their hats into the ring.

They are against the increase of the import player contingent. They recognize, however, that some changes have to be made in order to lower the salary standards in the league and are supporters of the introduction of a salary cap.

They also oppose the idea of a closed league. They are asking for the old system to remain in place. At the same time, they also want the infrastructural requirements a team in the Swiss League has to fulfil in order to be able to be promoted to the National League to change: "Why does a club need an arena with a capacity of 5,000 to play in the National League?"

They are also asking the league to let a representative of the fans be present for the league assemblies, because "we are convinced that the planned changes are completely against the opinion of the overwhelming majority of the fans. [...] Without the fans there is no revenue [...]. This is why the needs of the fans should be at the forefront or at least take a prominent role in the considerations with regard to strategic planning."
