From Swiss champion EV Zug, goaltender Leonardo Genoni and the Czech forward Jan Kovář are in the running for the Swiss Ice Hockey Award in this category. With forward Denis Malgin (ZSC Lions) another finalist will compete for the award.
For both Genoni and Malgin it is the second nomination for this year's award ceremony. Genoni is also nominated as "Goaltender of the Year", Malgin as "MVP Regular Season". The Swiss Ice Hockey Awards ceremony will take place this Friday, July 29.
