For the Channel One Cup, both Sweden's and Finland's coaching staff have called up players from the National League.

Sweden is going to enter the competition with three players who are currently playing in Switzerland. Defender Calle Andersson (SC Bern) will make his first appearance for Sweden since the 2014-15 season. Moreover, also Henrik Tömmernes (Genève-Servette HC) and Daniel Brodin (HC Fribourg-Gottéron) have been called up.

The Finnish coaching staff, on the other hand, has invited defenseman Petteri Lindbohm (Lausanne HC) to the tournament as the only representative of the National League.

The Channel One Cup will take place in Moscow, Russia, from 12 December until 15 December. Besides host Russia, Sweden, and Finland, also Czechia will be part of the tournament.
