swisshockeynews.ch

According to Expressen, Byrnäs IF is in advanced negotiations with Tony Sund. While the team's advisor Josef Boumedienne was not willing to disclose any names, he did confirm that they had talks with a couple of defensemen.

However, as Expressen reports, Sund has a concrete offer from the SHL team on the table, but will likely only make a decision after the end of the IIHF World Championship where he is currently representing Finland.

Sund was acquired at the end of February to reinforce HC Davos' defense. He started the season playing for Dinamo Riga (KHL). For the KHL team, he put up eleven assists in 34 games.
