That Tony Sund will not be back with HC Davos was already clear and there have already been reports that he might move to the Swedish top league SHL. So far, however, Brynäs IF seemed to be his next destination. But now, the 25-year-old has decided to join Rögle BK, where he has signed a one-year contract.

This past season, Tony Sund joined HC Davos at the end of February from the KHL's Dinamo Minsk. For HCD, he appeared in a total of eight games (including playoffs), in which he recorded one assist. He was also part of the Finnish team at this year's World Championship.
