Kontinental Hockey League

The 34-year-old, who most recently played with the KHL's Dinamo Riga, is in no hurry to find a new job.

The KHL is Linus Videll's priority.

As the Swedish forward tells HockeyNews.se, he will definitely not return to his native country: "If it won't be the KHL, I would probably check out Switzerland first and foremost." The priority of the 34-year-old, however, is clear: "Right now, I'm just checking on the KHL."

Videll, who put up an average of almost one point per game with Dinamo Riga last season, says that he has already received many offers, but: "It has either not been the right place or good enough, so I thought that I would wait. I've been a bit picky this year."

The forward has been without a contract for three months since his deal with Dinamo Riga expired. For the team from Latvia, he appeared in 49 games last season, in which he scored 24 goals and 24 assists. In spite of his good performance, however, they missed the playoffs.
