Maxim Lapierre is off to Germany

HC Lugano announced yesterday that the two parties came to a mutual agreement to the dissolve their contract. As for the reasons, team manager Hnat Dominicelli later told HeShootsHeScoores that, with the import player rule as it is, he was not able to guarantee Lapierre a spot on the roster for the next two seasons.

Lapierre joined the Bianconeri in 2016. He went on to play 175 National League games for them, recording 48 goals and 72 assists.
