According to Arcinfo, the 28-year-old goalie might be ready for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' season opener on Friday against SC Langenthal or on Saturday against HC Ajoie. Bays has been dealing with the aftermath of a knee-injury since mid-January.
As a temporary replacement, HCC has recently signed Dennis Saikkonen. However, team manager Loic Burkhalter is not willing to pay thousands of Swiss Francs in order to activate Saikkonen's license for just a single game, Arcinfo writes.
