Wrist-injury - HCAP's Fabio Hofer to miss about a month

The forward has sustained a ligament-injury in his left wrist and hopes to be able to return for the Spengler Cup.

Medical examinations on Tuesday, however, have shown that Fabio Hofer will not have to undergo surgery. Nevertheless, the 29-year-old will be sidelined for about a month.

This season so far, Hofer appeared in 21 games for HC Ambrì-Piotta, in which he put up six goals and one assist. Next season, he will move to EHC Biel, where he has signed a two-year deal.
