As HC Ambrì-Piotta has announced, Upshall sustained a knee injury during last Saturday's game against the SCL Tigers. Having undergone medical exams, the 38-year-old is now scheduled to be sidelined for about three to four weeks. This means he presumably will not be in the Biancoblù's lineup until Christmas, with a possible return at the Spengler Cup.

The Canadian, who joined the team a month ago, has suited up six times so far, recording two goals and two assists.
