Roman Červenka has fallen ill

Without their top scorer Roman Červenka, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers lost yesterday's game against HC Ambrì-Piotta 2-3 in overtime and were eliminated from the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup. According to the Südostschweiz, Červenka is currently ill with the flu.
Moreover, also Rapperswil's other Czech forward Vladimír Sobotka was not able to finish the game. According to the same source, the 33-year-old experienced problems with his groins and had to quit early in the game.
