Whereas Martin Ness received a 2+2 minutes penalty for his high stick, the Austrian forward, who was hit in the face by it, left the game injured and did not return for the final minutes, the Corriere del Ticino writes. How serious Herburger's injury acutally is, is not yet known.
This season so far, the forward has appeared in a total of 17 games for HC Lugano, in which he recorded five points (two goals).
