As the Swedish national team announces, Carl Klingberg will not be able to play again at this year's World Championship in Latvia. He suffered a lower-body injury. According to the news outlets Expressen and Aftonbladet, it happened in Sweden's second game against Belarus.

The 30-year-old will thus also miss tonight's game against his team mates from EV Zug in Sweden's preliminary game against Switzerland. The puck will drop ab 19:15 (CET) at the Olympic Sports Centre in Riga.
