Carr took a stick to the face in HC Lugano's last game on Tuesday. The 29-year-old winger had thus to throw in the towel during the third period.
Apparently, Carr suffered a concussion from the blow to his face and will be sidelined for now. It is not yet clear, when he will be able to return to game action, as journalists Flavio Viglezio (Corriere del Ticino) and Diego Medolago (RSI) write on Twitter.
