Ivars Punnenovs took a hit to his head from Carl Klingberg and was subsequently not able to continue to play. It is not yet clear whether the Latvian goaltender will miss some time or not.
Punnenovs has appeared in 14 games for the SCL Tigers this season, posting a .910 save percentage.
