After winning both the national championship as well as the Swiss Women's Hockey Cup last season, Georg Taferner's impulses did not reach the team anymore in the new season, as the ZSC Lions write in their press release.

As a consequence of that, Diane Michaud is being promoted to head coach. The 56-year-old Canadian joined the Lions as assistant in September. Goalie - and Off-Ice coach Andrin Christen will take on the position of assistant.

Michaud used to be head and assistant coach of the Swiss women's national team from 1999 to 2001 and again in the 2003-2004 season. She also a referee on a national and international level.
