The 30-year-old forward played the last five season in Sweden and will now join the Women's League team for the upcoming season.

HC Ladies Lugano add Karvinen to roster.

Karvinen had her start in hockey in Denmark. In 2011, she then moved overseas to play three years of college hockey for the University of North Dakota.

The Finnish national team player has won three bronze medals and one silver medal at the World Championships and was also part of the All-Star team at the last World Championship in 2019. She also has two Olympic bronze medals and won three championships with her last team, Luleå HF.
