Sinja Leemann, who can play both as a center or in defense, will continue her career in the Women's League with the ZSC Lions Frauen. ZSC's head coach Andrin Christen can thus soon count on another member of the Swiss national team. "Sinja can make her teammates better and is a person who knows what it takes to win," Christen says.

The almost 19-year-old is one of 25 players who will travel to Canada with the Swiss national team for this year's Women's Worlds (from May 6 to 16 in Halifax). It will be her second World Championship after 2019.

This season, Leemann's priority was to suit up with the Lakers' U17-Elit boys with which she won the bronze medal. In a total of 45 games with them, she recorded 25 points (ten goals). Over the past five seasons, she also suited up for the SC Weinfelden Ladies and the Thurgau Indien Ladies in the Women's League.
