With a 4-3 victory tonight, the ZSC Lions Frauen win the playoff final series against the HC Ladies Lugano with 3-0.

Lugano started well into the game, scoring two goals in the first 13 minutes (Andrea Odermatt and Lena Lutz). However, the Lions managed to tie the game in only 63 seconds with two goals from Sinja Leemann.

In the second period, Lugano once again managed to regain the lead with a goal from Laura Desboeufs. However, at the end of the period, the Lions tied it again (Lisa Rüedi).

After that, Lugano did not manage to score again and 16-year-old defender Alessia Baechler scored the game-winning goal for the Lions in the 48th minute of play - her first goal of the postseason.

The ZSC Lions Frauen thus end their playoff run without a single loss in the postseason. They had qualified for the final with a 2-0 victory in the semifinal over EV Bomo Thun. It is their tenth championship win in club history.
