According to Blick, EV Zug would like for their team to start in the Women's League instead of the fourth league as they would be able to "generate funds better and achieve a faster impact."
The 'Frauenligen Committee' (FLC), which has no decision-making authority, as well as the representatives of the Women's League discussed EVZ's proposal last week. There are some concerns, especially the fear that Zug would then poach players from other teams.
While the FLC has no decision-making authority, they can give their opinion to the "Koordinationsgremium". It will thus remain to be seen, whether EV Zug's proposal will be granted.
