Women's Hockey

In the NWHL's first-ever draft, the 29-year-old Swiss international has been picked third overall by Boston.

Picked by the Boston Pride: Evelina Raselli (left).

"It is an honor to draft Evelina, an accomplished goal scorer, and Olympic bronze medalist," the Pride's General Manager Danielle Larouco stated after the six teams of the National Women's Hockey League, the top women's league in North America, held their first NWHL International Draft.

If she decides to move overseas and suit up for the Boston Pride next season, Evelina Raselli would become the first player from Switzerland to compete in the NWHL.
