The 21-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract which includes an option for another season.

As Ryhner states in the press release, she is looking forward to playing in the SDHL, as it has been a goal of hers to one day play there: "There will likely be a big difference from the Swiss league. The level will be higher and there will be a lot of tough [...] games, which will be very good for my development as a hockey player [...]."

Noemi Ryhner is currently in Calgary playing with the Swiss national team at the World Championship. In 18 regular-season games for the HC Ladies Lugano, she recorded 13 goals and 19 assists.
