For the second season in a row, the final of the Svenska damhockeyligan is a battle between Brynäs and Luleå. A year ago, Luleå won the title, their third in four years. The one time they did not win, the final was canceled due to Covid. Will Luleå add another title or will Brynäs finally overcome their kryptonite? Since 2015, Brynäs was eliminated by Luleå in all but one postseason.

Two Swiss national team players stand on opposing sides of the duel. On one side, Noemy Ryhner, part of Luleå since last summer. She has put up five goals and eight assists in 25 games this season.

On the other side, Lara Stalder, a member of Brynäs since 2019. Last year, she set a new scoring record in the SDHL, which she herself broke about a month ago. In 40 games this season, Stalder has recorded 40 goals and 62 assists.

Game 5 of the SDHL-final between Brynäs and Luleå starts in under an hour, at 18:00 (CEST).
