Truttmann announced his retirement from professional hockey some month ago. It seems, however, the 36-year-old winger has not yet had enough as he joins his youth team again, signing a one-year contract.
"I was thinking about what I want to do and it was the thrill to play at home again, with EHC Seewen. I want to present my best hockey to the fans and I'm looking forward to the coming season", Truttmann is quoted in a press release.
In total, Truttmann played almost 200 games in the National League and more than 500 in the Swiss League. This past season, he suited up for EHC Kloten.
