According to nau.ch, Sascha Rochow was signed after a couple of practice sessions with EHC Thun. The goaltender had a contract in place with EHC Winterthur, which is valid until the end of October. It contained an option for the entire season, but it looks like the Lions did not activate it.
Rochow has not played a single championship game for EHC Winterthur this season. Last season, he played seven games for EHC Visp and two for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
