According to his agent Georges Müller, Pius Suter will earn $2.75 million in his first year in Detroit and $3.75 million in his second. A contract he earned with a strong first year in the NHL, in which he recorded 27 points (14 goals) in 55 games for the Chicago Blackhawks.
That Pius Suter remains in the NHL also has an impact on the ZSC Lions. They are thus allowed to play with five import-players next season. An alternative to this could, however, be Denis Malgin, team manager Sven Leuenberger told the Tages-Anzeiger at the beginning of May.
