As the Devils' beat reporter, Amanda Stein, writes on X, Travis Green has announced that Jonas Siegenthaler is suffering from a concussion. The interim head coach of the New Jersey Devils also adds that the defender will be sidelined for an extended period of time.

The injury is a consequence of the check he received from Matt Rempe during the last game. The forward of the New York Rangers has been suspended four games for elbowing the Swiss defender.
